ALL CLASSES:
The AWL vocab for the week's quizlet can be found here. You are to (in your notebook) list the words, their definitions and the type of word. This is due tomorrow.
4th Period:
As well as AWL Vocab, you will have to complete the four reading questions from class. If you want, you can work on your museum activity (this is only an option for 4th)
Museum Activity information:
You have been approached by the Field Museum to create an exhibit on the Crusades. You only have three rooms (roughly the size of the classroom) and you will be unable to structurally change the rooms. You have unlimited funds and access to any artifacts for your exhibit; you decide what goes in and what does not. You must defend your choices for your exhibit… this is one of the most important parts of the assessment! You must also identify any bias and problems that may arise from your exhibit..what may offend people OR cause them to complain? Why?
Part 1- The Visual: You must create a blueprint and identify (visually) the layout of your exhibit. You may create a key or simply label as you go. This must follow your written portion.
Part 2-Written: You must have a written record of your exhibit layout. This must follow all of the directions above. It must be detailed and in complete sentences! Points will be deducted if this is not followed.
*You may use any and all materials, readings and notes for this activity.
